My sister died
The wolf wails to the moon
A plaintive, melancholic dirge
As I plant pansies

I’m so sorry you lost your sister. But thank you o your words. May the pansies spark good memories of her.

Sharon, may the emptiness in your heart and your life be filled with the peace and comfort that God in the beauty of the pansies brings to you. Many flowers are beautiful, but pansies have always been my favorites. It may have something to do with the fact that they are about the only ones with which I have had success in planting and watching them bloom. Your photo is special as always.

Had been wondering why I hadn’t received any “Gatherings.” Now I know and I grieve with you as you did with me. Thank you for sharing this sad news with us so we can, in spirit at least, be a source of support for you in the community of faith we share.

    Howard
